Exploring the Future
The Explorer Post Program is designed to provide over 6,000 New York City high school students the opportunity to learn about a career field of their choice and develop a road map for their future. After completing a survey about their career interests and hobbies, students receive invitations to participate from companies based on their responses.
Over 50 New York City businesses and government agencies participate in the program as Explorer Posts. Throughout the year, each Post hosts a series of lectures and presentations designed to give students an introduction to their desired careers, and advice on the education and skills it will take to get into the field.
PwC New York has served as an Explorer Post for the past five years, and intends to continue that tradition. Our volunteers have found it highly rewarding, as they help students develop the skills they need for future success.
